Green garlic is immature garlic harvested before the cloves fully develop, often referred to as spring garlic or baby garlic. It features broad green leaves and a small, often white bulb at the base, offering a milder, fresher, and sweeter flavor than mature garlic. The entire plant, including the leaves and stalk, is edible and can be used in various dishes.
Flavor: Milder, fresher, and slightly sweet flavor than mature garlic, with a hint of garlicky pungency. Similar to green onions, but more garlicy.
